Geoff Ellis speaks of first ever death at T in the Park
In light of the tragic news of a 32-year-old man being found dead in his tent, Festival Director, Geoff Ellis spoke of his sadness on hearing of the news.
He said: "In T in the Park's fifteen year history, this is the first time we have had a death onsite and we are shocked and saddened to hear the news. Our thoughts are with the family at his time."

Gavin McInally - Festival veteran Gavin McInally will chalk up his 34th festival, and eighth T In The Park over the weekend, in search of a crushing bass line and some growling vocals amongst the indie flood at Balado. The Paisley Daily Express digital scribe is looking forward to the triumphant return of Raging Against The Machine, record breaking Biffy Clyro, checking out the hotly-tipped new Relentless Stage and, embarrassingly, Counting Crows… Not to mention the obligatory pint.
